The chamber is authorized by the Department of Commerce (RMTR Section), government of India, to issue Certificate of origin (Non-Preferential) as mentioned in appendix 4C of the Hand book of procedures, Vol. 1 of Foreign Trade Policy. Every month more than 6000 documents are attested by the Chamber.

Attestation Procedure:-
Those who wish to attest their documents from IACCI have to execute an indemnity Bond on a Hundred Rupee Stamp paper. It need not be notarized.
It is one time procedure. Only one of the bond has to be submitted and not at every instance of attestation. On receipt of the Bond the chamber will provide the executor of Bond a registration number, which has to be referred for every attestation.
